Many states have followed or indicated they will follow the new federal 7/15 deadline, but please see below for a summary:
Connecticut – 7-15-2020
The Connecticut Department of Revenue Services (DRS) has extended the filing and payment deadline for personal income tax returns for 90 days, to 7/15/20. The extension also applies to CT estimated income tax payments for the first and second quarters of 2020.

Maine – 7-15-2020
Gov. Janet Mills has extended the tax filing and payment deadline of 4/15/20 to 7/15/20.

Massachusetts – 7-15-2020
Gov. Charlie Baker has announced the state has extended the 4/15/20 tax deadline to 7/15.

New Hampshire – Not Yet Extended
At this time, the state of New Hampshire has not extended the deadline to file or pay the Business Tax (Business Profits Tax and Business Enterprise Tax), Interest & Dividends Tax, Meals & Rentals Tax, or any other tax administered by the New Hampshire Department of Revenue Administration (DRA).

New York – Not Yet Extended
The NY Department of Taxation and Finance (DOT) has not yet announced a delay in the 4/15 deadline.

Rhode Island – Not Yet Extended
In conjunction with announcements made today by United States Treasury Secretary Steven T. Mnuchin and Rhode Island Governor Gina M. Raimondo involving the April 15, 2020, deadline for certain tax filings and tax payments, the Division of Taxation will mirror the federal extensions and is awaiting the issuance of written guidance from the Internal Revenue Service. The Division intends to post further guidance as soon as possible.

Vermont – 7-15-2020
The Vermont Department of Taxes (DOT) has announced that the Vermont income tax filing due dates for VT personal income tax has been extended from April 15, 2020 to July 15, 2020.
