Karen Cardinal is a new member of Dental Managers Society and is thrilled to have joined! Lexi and I visited their practice last month and everyone joined us at the front desk to say how Karen has raved about our group! (What a wonderful group she works with, too!)

Dental Associates of East Bridgewater is a very well-established general practice dedicated to family dentistry in East Bridgewater and its surrounding area.  Some of their patients have been with them since they were children, and now they see not just their children, but their grandchildren as well!  They have an intimate staff that consists of 3 dentists, 3 hygienists, 3 assistants, and 2 front office specialists, including Karen.  Most of them have been in the field for several years and all are very passionate at what they do.  Despite the fact their team members each have a specific task, they all make the time to lend a hand when needed, and are great at multitasking!

Karen started working in the dental field almost 10 years ago after working as a sales supervisor for a popular retail store.  She was content, but wanted something different, and challenging so she took a leap of faith, switched gears and applied to a local dental office.  Karen says, “It must have been my calling, because I enjoy the interactions with our patients, from welcoming them into our practice, to reviewing proposed treatment plans and explaining patient’s benefits.  I am always determined to have our patients leave with a smile, doing everything I can to make sure they understand all aspects of their care and answering any questions they may have.  I have come to know our patients very well, and love staying up to date with the happenings in their personal lives as well.”

“Of course there are times that being a practice administrator has its challenges.  Dealing with insurance companies, staying on hold while trying to multitask and help patients, making sure the schedule is full, and keeping everyone (patients and staff) happy.  Honestly, some days are better than others, but in the long run, I absolutely love what I do!”

Karen adds, “Personally, I enjoy the outdoors and have a passion for running.  It allows me to stay healthy not just physically, but mentally as well!  I also enjoy entertaining, and staying busy on the weekends.  If I am lucky, I get to spend time with my 3 daughters who are grown and busy with their lives.”

As a new member of Dental Manager’s society, I am happy to say I have already utilized information after attending my first meeting.  I am very excited to be a member and excited for future meetings.  I am looking forward to creating long lasting relationships with fellow members.”

We’re so happy you found us, too!
