Dr. Lisa Kane spoke about what changes she foresees in dental practices as Massachusetts opens up and she said “Not a lot will change.”
The CDC and ADA haven’t changed their guidelines for patient care and people who haven’t been vaccinated are still going to the dentist. Everyone needs to be treated as though they haven’t been vaccinated so all the protocols still apply.
Dr Kane also said that, of all her client practices, only one has all staff members vaccinated. All others have at least one and in some cases several who haven’t been vaccinated.
Dr Kane offered these revised screening sheets; one is for screening patients, the other is for screening staff.
