DONATE TODAY!
People tend to toss the word passion around a lot these days, but when Carmella Beroth talks about her campaign to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, you see real passion. She sits up straighter. She is more than passionate. She is a force of nature.
Carmella loves speaking about the several events that she is planning and facilitating. And how her family is helping with her mission. They are her team. Carmella’s plate is already pretty full with a demanding job that she loves and husband, Michael, their daughter Hope, and her mother-in-law all living with her. But because of her passion for this cause, she is planning many events for all age groups and interests. She also negotiated with local companies to ask customers if they would like to donate a dollar when they check out. How she is doing all of this is truly amazing.
And then she tells you that she is doing all of this in memory of her husband’s first wife, Tracy Beroth, who was diagnosed with AML in February of 2004 and passed away only a few months later. Every cent that she raises for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society will be donated to become a research grant in Tracy’s name.
When she married her husband, Michael, Carmella had three daughters. He brought with him his two children who were three and six years old when their mother passed. And Michael and Carmella have a daughter together.
Many events and donation locations will be posted throughout the campaign. Remember that every dollar donated counts.
